Chapter Philanthropy
As Kappas, we're always looking for opportunities to dream boldly and live fully as we give back and improve the world around us. At Eta Iota, most of our philanthropic work is done through our national philanthropy partners, the JED Foundation and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation, as well as our local philanthropy partner, One World Community Heath Center.
The Jed Foundation (JED) is a nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for the nation’s teens and young adults. OneWorld, in partnership with the community, provides culturally respectful, quality health care with special attention to the underserved. Eta Iota serves One World through volunteering with various events such as Toys for Tots and their Baby Boutique.
Our signature philanthropy events include Breakfast at Kappas, a brunch and silent auction hosted during Parents Weekend and Kappa Kupcakes, where members of our chapter sell and deliver locally made cupcakes to students during one week in the spring.
