Here at Creighton University, we take part in a formal recruitment process which begins at the start of the Spring semester and lasts four days. While unusual, this deferred recruitment provides many benefits for the Potential New Member (PNM). Primarily, this allows for all PNMs to become properly acclimated to university life before deciding if going Greek is the right fit.
The mission statement of Kappa Kappa Gamma states that we are “…an organization of women, which seeks for every member throughout her life bonds of friendship, mutual support, opportunities for self-growth, respect for intellectual development, and an understanding of and an allegiance to positive ethical principles.” With a strong dedication to academic excellence and positive well being, Kappa Kappa Gamma allows each woman to thrive and actively seeks to cultivate an environment where each woman can excel within the organization as a whole.
I will never be able to repay this wonderful organization for the opportunities it has given me. Going Kappa was one of the best decisions I could have made. This chapter of women, who come from all different backgrounds, continually remind me why I am so proud to be an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. I have the distinct privilege of being able to show all PNMs what this beautiful organization has to offer and I genuinely hope that each woman going through the recruitment process, no matter what organization she chooses, can find a place where she feels the most comfortable.
Love and Loyalty,
